WHAT OUR APPLICATION DOES

Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension is web browser extension that supports in browser digital signing of XML documents, time stamping, signature verification and searching digital certificates which are part of Windows Certificate store. This product is developed to enable browser signing of documents with user’s local digital certificates and it is supported by leading web browsers (Chrome, Opera, Firefox Mozilla and Microsoft Edge).

By using Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension you digitally sign your XML documents with your local digital certificates, which provides document integrity, also enables you to detect and verify the existing digital signatures on XML file.

In general, you use our application Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension on your device without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA OUR APPLICATION PROCESS

By installing our application, Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension, on your device this application does not do collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of any personal information, although we do have technically access to system folders on your device and our application in a certain moment of the signing process may ask you to provide your digital certificate pin (correction of entered pin is not part of our implementation, this validation is part of a certificate driver).

If the certificate is part of a token protected with PIN the communication between you and the private part of the certificate goes through the driver of the token. In this communication our application does not have any kind of access to the PIN of the certificate.

We do not have a view on the content of the XML documents being signed by our extension since our extension do not recognize them in readable context but only as string that communicate with the digital certificates installed on your device.

We do receive your document via your browser and in some cases this content is stored in system folders on your local computer on which only you have access rights, and afterwards the signing process they are automatically deleted.

COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

When installing our application Nextsense XML Signing extension on your device we do not use any Globally Unique Identifiers (GUIDs) and/or cookies and/or referrers and/or IP addresses.

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER AND TRACK

Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension does not gather or track any personal information.

Web applications of our clients that are authorized to use Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension may process the content of the XML documents (that are subject of signing) and the public part of your certificates. The manipulation of this data is subject of web application data privacy policy of our client.

NO IMPACT ON BROWSER NATIVE FUNCTIONALITIES

Nextsense XML Browser Signing Extension does not programmatically alter, or appear to alter any native browser functionalities.

We do confirm here by our compliance with REGULATION (EU) No 910/2014 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market, REGULATIONS (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and Microsoft Store Policies.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICIES

We will notify you of any changes we make by posting an updated version of this policy on Microsoft Store. Any changes will take effect when they are so posted.
